INVESTMENT PORTFOLIO
SEALSQ strategically invests in innovative technologies to advance post-quantum security and semiconductor solutions.
IC’ALPS brings full ASIC design and supply-chain capabilities in-house, ColibriTD introduces quantum-computing solvers and industrial optimization services, EeroQ develops next-generation scalable quantum processors, WISeSat.Space deploys a quantum-resistant LEO satellite constellation for global secure connectivity, and Quantix Edge establishes sovereign European post-quantum chip personalization and manufacturing.
Together, these investments create a complete, end-to-end quantum-resilient ecosystem—from secure silicon to space-based infrastructure—positioning SEALSQ as the only pure-play leader serving critical industries with unmatched security, sovereignty, and scalability.
IC'ALPS (Full Acquisition)
SEALSQ's full acquisition of IC'ALPS, France's leading ASIC design and supply-chain specialist, integrates IC'ALPS' expertise in custom semiconductors for safety-critical applications—such as medtech, automotive, space, and defense—with SEALSQ's post-quantum cryptography capabilities.
This synergy enables the embedding of quantum-resistant secure elements into high-reliability ASICs compliant with standards like ISO 26262 for automotive and IEC 61508 for industrial systems, accelerating production of quantum-safe chips for demanding environments.
As part of SEALSQ's global strategy, this acquisition strengthens its European semiconductor footprint, expands the engineering team by over 100 specialists, and positions the company as a comprehensive provider of end-to-end quantum-secure hardware, driving growth in regulated, high-margin markets.
EeroQ
SEALSQ's strategic investment in EeroQ, a U.S.-based quantum computing pioneer founded in 2017, advances scalable quantum processors using single electrons trapped on superfluid helium—a breakthrough enabled by recent materials science, microfabrication, and cryogenic innovations.
EeroQ's technology aligns seamlessly with SEALSQ's semiconductor expertise through its ultra-compact, thumbnail-sized qubits, CMOS-compatible fabrication for integration with SEALSQ's secure personalization and OSAT processes, and superior qubit metrics in coherence time, all-to-all connectivity, and mobility for novel architectures.
This supports SEALSQ's "Quantum Made in USA" vision, enhancing its post-quantum ecosystem with commercialized cryptographic chips, quantum-resistant microcontrollers, U.S./UAE personalization centers, and future quantum accelerators, while prioritizing U.S. and European technological sovereignty for national security.
ColibriTD
SEALSQ's investment in ColibriTD, a provider of quantum computing solvers that connect to quantum hardware (like EeroQ’s) to address practical industrial challenges in aerospace, automotive (including F1), and semiconductors, enables collaborative development of targeted quantum applications.
In partnership with ColibriTD and Xdigit, SEALSQ is following a six-month roadmap to create a quantum-based solution that dramatically reduces IR Drop issues in sub-7nm semiconductor nodes, potentially boosting wafer yields from 50% to 80% and significantly lowering manufacturing costs.
These synergies leverage ColibriTD's optimization solvers with SEALSQ's quantum-secure hardware to revolutionize semiconductor production efficiency. This aligns with SEALSQ's global strategy to advance quantum technologies for industrial optimization, as part of its $30 million SEALQuantum.com Innovation Lab investments, enhancing cybersecurity and yield improvements across high-tech sectors
WISeSat.Space
SEALSQ's $10 million investment secures a 9% equity stake in WISeSat.Space at a $115 million pre-money valuation, accelerating the deployment of its low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellite constellation for global IoT connectivity.
Technical synergies involve embedding SEALSQ's post-quantum cryptography and space-hardened secure elements into WISeSat's nanosatellites, enabling quantum-resilient communications via space-based Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) for low-latency, decentralized networks resistant to quantum attacks.
This investment supports SEALSQ's global strategy for sovereign space infrastructure, including recent SpaceX-launched satellites, by extending secure IoT coverage to remote areas, speeding commercialization of post-quantum space tech, and targeting 50-100% revenue growth in 2026 through satellite services.
Quantix Edge Security
SEALSQ's participation in the Quantix Edge Security joint venture—with partners including OdinS, TProtege, and backed by the Spanish government's €19.6 million investment through the Sociedad Española de Transformación Tecnológica (SETT)—establishes Spain's first post-quantum semiconductor design, personalization and test center in the Murcia region, with a total €40 million budget.
The joint venture will focus on enabling on-site design, customization and testing of new generation silicon chips for applications like Automotive, IoT and Space, adding trust services like key injection and firmware personalization, to shorten lead times and bolster supply-chain security for edge applications.
This fits into SEALSQ's global strategy for European microelectronics sovereignty, generating projected €25 million in revenue, mitigating geopolitical risks through localized production, and scaling quantum-secure hardware design, provisioning and test for automotive, industrial, and defense sectors across the EU.
